Daily Progress Report: 31 January 2013

Today I meet with school librarian Ms. Kusum . She is a Hindi teacher. As school didn't have any librarian so she took charge of library. I got to know more information about library each year school got books from SSA RMSA DSE.

Checked all register of that each department. I had already posted pictures of Almira that had books.

Collected all bill of book from year 2012-2013 and checked books in register. All books were in proper indexing. There was also another section of books which provided by Lady Bamford Trust. More information of that trust also available on Wikipedia.

Try to get more information about library. There were total 3 register about books in library.

Each year school got book from each department. Also there were different almira for each department.

Reached the school on time. Discussed about library with library Incharge Ms. Kusham (Hindi teacher 6th-10th class). There was no librarian in school so she took charge as an librarian. Try to understand about working system of library.

It was a new experience.

School was closed on 27th January and 28th January.

In morning assembly students participated in "Matdata Divas". All school teacher and staff took oath for the protection of the federal structure. Students completed their "Republic Day" preparation.

Daily Progress Report: 24 January 2013

Examined Books library, where I found two different Almira section one from School and other from Lady Bamford trust. There were many English books from Lady Bamford trust. They are doing very good work in various field.

After recess students celebrated "BALIKA DIVAS". Specially girls performed drama to give awareness about "FEMALE FOETICIDE "and "CHILD MARRIAGE". I did not have a camera so unable to click picture from that function, but i will try in my next DPR to collect some pic about school events.

Checked all the computer at computer lab (all of them were in working condition). After Recess went to DEEO,BEO, DPC office at Faridabad Sec 16 with a school staff member to submit my joining report and school work.

They told me to prepare file of all documents. It was a very nice experience for that day.

Daily Progress Report: 22 January 2013

I reached to school on prayer time. Discussed with Principal madam about various topic like school cluster which came under my supervision, what is SMC meeting? etc. She cleared all question from my side.

Examined the computer lab there are total 22 computer which are connected to 2 main server with Linux OS. Discussed about computer education they gave to the students. All computer staff was posted from private company.

Daily Progress Report: 21 January 2013

Day started with submitting the joining report with all required documents to the Principal. Discussed with the Principal madam about various topic like internet connection facility, electricity schedule, library facilities etc. She introduced me to the computer lab assistant Mr Jile Singh. Then found working BSNL Broadband Internet connection with working desktop but that was for office use only.

In mid time visited computer lab and meet with another computer lab assistant Mr Deepak. Got more information about school. Another day passed with new information and experience.

Daily Progress Report: 19 January 2013

It was the first day of my job.  Reached the school on time and reported to the Principal of GSSS, Jharsently which came under block Ballabgarh district Faridabad. The Principal Smt. Saroj Arora was a very nice person. After all joining formalities, took a round of the school. Met with different staff member of school like clerk and teachers.

The school was adopted by JCB India with trust named Lady Bamford Trust. It was very nice first day experience.
